Overview of telecommunications stories of the day. Three stories are showcased here First, we are shown the underwater telecommunications cabling of San Francisco Bay. Actually quite interesting. The second story is about radio transmitters being installed on telephone poles in the case of an emergency that telephone service is wiped out. Thirdly, the novel idea of bringing telephone stands to public gatherings such as public fairs and sporting events is shown. They bring the phones to you! Wacky!
